Today is World Kindness Day.
It is a day that is celebrated by many, as an opportunity to encourage empathy and compassion for others.
Kindness is infectious and gives both the giver and the receiver wonderful boosts of oxytocin and serotonin. Kindness increases happiness, energy levels, pleasure and life span; while reducing stress, anxiety and depression.
